Here are some frequent questions we get in our inbox, and answers to help you cover any doubts or concerns.
Our flying dresses are designed to fit a wide range of body types. They are one-size-fits-most with adjustable ties and wrap-style construction that works beautifully from XS through plus sizes. When you arrive, our dedicated dress assistant will help you get fitted and styled before we start shooting.
We carry over a dozen colors and styles, including Scarlet Lady, American Girl, Barbie Girl, Emerald, Sapphire, Cleopatra, Lady in Red, Not-So-Little Black Dress, Olive You, and more — plus special-occasion styles like Future Mrs. (bridal), It’s a Boy, and It’s a Girl. While we include flying dresses in every photoshoot, we also specialize in a variety of photoshoots! If you want to bring your own dress, that’s okay too!
Our flying dress photoshoot packages are from 1-2 hours, but we can happily add as much time as you’d like! Anything over 2 hours is billed $250/hour and includes 15 photos/hour.
Your session includes a professional photographer AND a dedicated dress assistant. The assistant helps manage the train of your gown, adjusts the dress for different poses, and ensures every shot looks its absolute best. This is what separates a flying dress session from a regular photoshoot — the assistant is essential.
We recommend wearing small shorts underneath the dress. While they won’t be seen, if the wind picks up a lot, you’ll feel a lot more comfortable. Tops can be tied in multiple forms, but it’s recommended to wear a sticky bra underneath, or a bit of fashion tape rather than a standard bra.
Flying dress photoshoots are very weather-dependent, as they are only able to fly with very light winds and no rain. If we see the weather is not in favorable conditions, we will happily reschedule, free of charge! Reschedules can be at any time, and do not expire.
All of our photoshoots can be held all over NYC! We have some of our favorite photoshoot locations in NYC to recommend, but also are up to shoot anywhere! Do keep in mind that ticketed locations will incur extra fees – but the sky is the limit!
Something that sets us apart from other flying dress photoshoot companies, is that we don’t limit you to just a few spots. Shoots can be held anywhere in the 5 boroughs, as well as anywhere in New Jersey. Other destinations can be arranged, but will have an extra fee for travel.

We have three different photoshoot packages, and both of our Experience and Ultimate packages include 2 locations. Want to add another? Not a problem! We just need to adjust the package accordingly.
We are currently a 2-man show, and have very limited availability throughout the year. We recommend booking 3-4 weeks in advance. However, if we are available, we accept booking up to 24 hours before. If there’s room in our schedule, we’re always happy to make it happen!
We understand that plans can change, especially for travelers. Here’s how it works:
— More than 48 hours before your session: Full reschedule at no charge, or a refund minus a 10% booking fee
— Within 48 hours of your session: Session can be rescheduled once at no charge, but no refund is issued
— No-show: No refund, but can reschedule for a fee of $200
— Weather cancellation: Full reschedule at no charge, initiated by us if conditions are not ideal.
Your preselection of photos will be delivered within 48 hours of your shoot. Once the final selection is sent back to us, we will deliver the edited photos within 5 days via a digital download link.
